I will make a deck entirely out of Merlwyb cards.

video games are bad
The cards better not be craftable 3 star items.

If they did make the cards craftable it'd ruin the whole collectability of them game.
I don't know, I've played it in VIII, IX and PlayOnline... they were all the same.

Craftable cards sounds amazing to me :x I would love to see a combination of cards as drops, from beating npc, crafting, quests, and the like. I would like to see cards rewarded from a variety of different things. I don't think it would be too unreasonable to have a few cards that are from high end crafting.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.

Meh, it's not Tetra Master, so i dont really care... This one is broken beyond repair.
I'd love if there were some kind of craftable item you could use on a mob, that killing it would give you a small chance to receive the mob's card. Like Quetzacoatl's Card ability, but FFXIV-ified. It could work on any mob, including bosses. Make it like a 5% success rate.
Want a Twintania card? Buy a stack of 99 for 2k apiece and start grinding T5!
A timesink, a gilsink, and the best FF minigame ever conceived in one package.
From the fields of Planet Ragol and Vanadiel, conquering one new world at a time. Family transcending borders 2000-2014 and on - The Deneb 4 Crew / Knights of Deneb forever!

Ragnarok Online. Just need to make them untradable (doubt SE will), and not require an item (50/50 for SEs choice)I'd love if there were some kind of craftable item you could use on a mob, that killing it would give you a small chance to receive the mob's card. Tetra Master was a better card game, imo. I hope the FFXIV version is more like that.
Edit: ugh, I think I was too sleepy when I posted this. I got them mixed up. Triple Triad, the one from FF8, is definitely the better one.

Tetra Master drove me insane. The randomness was a bit too strong in that game, plus there was no point in that card game's existence, you couldn't use it for anything or get anything out of it save for that one tournament in FF9. It also seemed a little too complex than it needed to be when compared with Triple Triad, which had simplicity going for it, even before complex punched you in the face in the ways of the Plus, Same, Same Wall, and Elemental rules (which you could get rid of and avoid altogether easily).
