Game freezing

i bought the game a few days ago and ever since downloading it i've found i cant play for more than around 30 mins before the game freezes up and i have to do a hard restart on my PC. the first 5 times i started the game i could not even get through the cinematic at the start, i then updated my graphic drivers and that seemed to help but i still have the problem.
if this is going to continue i might as well uninstall the game and go back to playing WoW and Eve-online.
