Shortened Emote Commands

While I'm fairly quick at typing, I just don't see a point in emotes being unnecessarily long, such as all of the dances having dance after them.

As for other emotes, /imperialsalute could just be /impsalute. /congratulate could be /grats. /examineself could be...I'm not sure, /examine and /check would be misleading. /airquotes could just be /quote (/reapers, for pop culture reference). /handover could simply be /give. /changepose? How about /pose2? The dances could just have the word dance removed from them, so /ball, /harvest, /step, etc. /man for the Manderville.

I noticed that our other new emote, /pet, can also be used with /stroke, so why can't these long emotes also have shorter ways to type them as well?

Just a thing to think about.

Not sure about a lot of those, but all of the dances already have short variations. Manderville is /mdance, step dance is /sdance, etc.

I'm not disagreeing about your point, but /changepose can be /cpose and the dances are as Nutz said above. I use /blowkiss all the time but it can be a fingerfull to type in a hurry.

I never knew about these, nothing shows it. The /pet emote, when you highlight it in the menu, shows "/pet, /stroke", but that's the only emote that shows multiple entries. Also, Ball Dance takes up /bdance, but there's also Bomb Dance, what's the alternate for that?

As for /blowkiss, that could totally just be /kiss. There's not a kiss emote or anything and most MMOs that have a blown kiss emote already just use /kiss.

/orz for /disappointed. That's half a joke, since I wouldn't expect it to ever become a thing, but you do actually do the orz pose when you do /disappointed.

For the long ones I just use the auto translate. Type /man, hit tab, press enter and voila, manderville dance!
