hotbar issue

well I came back to realm reborn,I return and join a new server but after i lv up my monk to a certain lv i went to the lancer guild to become a lancer to get blood for blood ability and i save my monk in the gear set list and so as my lancer and then i switch to my lancer after.I switch my hot bar the usual switch between the 1st and the 8th by pressing r1 and to my surprise i saw my monk abilities that i put in my 8th hot bar and i was like something's wrong because i remember since i 1st play that this type of nonsense NEVER happen and i was wondering if this is gonna get resolve cause i can't play with this issue in play.

you have 8 different hotbars. hotbars 1-3 are clas specific so far as i know, and the other are locked. if you dont want you moves showing up for different classes, take everything off hotbar 8 and put it on 2. then, you still only have 2 hotbars, but they change with the class

whats so confusing? if you have monk skill in the 8th hotbar, they will stay there. anything in hotbars 4-8 are locked and will continue to be there

are you a ps3 player if not then you won't understand since i have to probably explain thoroughly

i have played both ps3 and ps4, and the setup for both is the same, and from what i understand, PCs that use a controller over mouse and keyboard look the same as well. dont assume that i have no clue what you are talking about. your first post is so disorganized and generally nonsensical that its easy for someone to misunderstand you. i am trying to help and make sense of what you posted the first time. you said you had skill in the 8th hotbar, which is locked, meaning everything you put on it, will stay there, no matter what class you play as.

it rotates to the next hotbar with anything on it. hotbar 1 has all of my main healing abilties, not counting medica 2, and hotbar 2 has my damage spells, with medica 2 on the r2+up. hotbar 8 has companion/chocobo icons, PF, DF, challenge log, crafting/gathering/hunting logs, pretty much everything i want easy access to on every class.

for BLM, hotbar 1 is every one of my main damage dealing spells and sleep, hotbar 2 has my lesser used damage spells and some of my damage mitigation(which i dont normally use)/debuffs.

on pally, all of my defensive CDs are on the d-pad+l2, hate combos are on r2. convolescence, cure and tempered will are on the second hotbar.

the first hotbar is filled for every class. dont ask about monk, because i dont like it and im not comfortable playing it, although i do have it geared.
