for those looking to get wine red but still have not next time you get to Dalmund red just add a few darken green and darken blue about 2 or three of each should do it once you get to dalmund red you do not need any more darken red.

That really sucks, Raven. Losing an established FC, I mean. If you guys hadn't already started a new one, you totally could have joined mine. We're a rather small FC ourselves, only a few active members at the moment, but we have a small house, a garden, and a stable. And we're already looking to save up to get a large house when the next ward is opened up.
If you guys need help with anything, contact me in game and I'll see what I can do.
Guys,
I am working on a new theory, which I will coin it as "microfeeding" ...
Here is the link to the initial idea draft, and this is the follow up. Please assist on further experiments so we can gather more results and confirm if this works.

I don't know if it's a result of the mass feed, or the roundabout path I took, or if it'll work reliably, but taking the berry overload path out of the Regal loop turned out to be a good move. Landed on midnight blue, and one feed from there landed me directly on wine red instead of having to go through the browns, which I'm going to have to chalk up in the "Win" column and not ask too many questions, lol.
Nigh On Useless Summary
Desert Yellow to Millioncorn Yellow (Apples x4)
Millioncorn Yellow to Pumpkin Orange (Apples x7)
Pumpkin Orange to Sunset Orange (Apples x11)
Sunset Orange to Blood Red (15 Apples)
Blood Red to Dalamud Red (4 Berries)
Dalamud Red to Rolanberry Red (15 Berries)
Rolanberry Red to Regal Purple (3 Pears [1 proc], 5 berries [2 procs])
Regal Purple to Grape Purple (4 pears)
Grape Purple to Rolanberry Red (3 pears [1 proc], 1 berry [1 proc], 6 apples [3 procs])
Rolanberry Red Grape Purple (3 Pears)
Grape Purple to Midnight Blue (1 Apple [accident], 3 Berries)
Midnight Blue to Wine Red (2 Apples)
Some of the variance could definitely be explained by hitting walls and then coming back off of them with offset values. Interested to see where this theory goes.Originally Posted by AttacKat;2415649"

Thank you, I appreciate it. Yeah, the new one is already made. I'm still in the old one atm trying to get my bird to Wine Red. After everyone else left, the leader came on and nuked all the permissions. So, I can still feed my bird, but if I take him out I can't re-stable him. That really sucks, Raven. Rust Red + 1 Berries > Russet Brown + 1 Berries > Rolanberry Red + 1 Pear > Russet Brown + 3 pears > Raisin Brown + 1 Berries > ???
That is my progress from my last update on Rust Red. Felt like would land on Wine Red right after that, but NOPE!. I don't think I had my GB down low enough, so I'm trying to equalize things out more, then I'll try apples again, which "should" get me there. Russet seems like it may be pit in and of itself, but not as big as Regal Purple Pit.
Landed on Raisin Brown about 40 mins ago. Looks like you know what after eating a lot of turnip greens the day before. -.- Sorry, bad joke. My mood's not the best right now.

Locking the stables? That sounds kinda ... petty. If it becomes unpleasant, let me know. The FC I've been in has sustained itself on a laissez-faire, community-over-content, "don't be a dick" mindset, and I wouldn't mind making a VISITOR rank with stable access until you get to Wine and join your friends' new home. The only catch is that we've got like 60-80 active members at a time and the gardens are too swamped to offer access to those, lol.

Just fed my bird a lemon (8pm), and feed it 71 fruits in the attempt to one shot to soot black. Interestingly enough, I got a feather proc for every fruit I fed after the 3rd fruit, so 69 feather procs on this one feeding.
This will be my initial, and ultimate, test to prove my theory.
1st feeding result:
Chestnut Brown 63, 47, 15
2nd feeding: 2x plums, 2x berries, 1x valfruit
