Starting color: Honey yellow
Fed: 13 Mamook pears, 18 Xelphatol Apples, 16 Cieladalaes pineapples.
No new feathers message, and my wallet is gone. Thanks Obama.

A very basic question, but an important one ---
How was the RGB numbers derived in the original sheet? In other words, how were those figures verified that is consistant with the in game color?
I honestly have no idea. That's why I'm waiting for more information before I post anything.
Super tired now, it's late here. I'll try to update the original post with relevant links tomorrow.

I want to gather data on single-step color changes with a single snack type.
Also looking for more data on pineapples and pears fed from the Desert Yellow!
Please submit the form if you have some data you would like to share.
I am trying to find out how consistent the colors are by doing single steps, feeding one snack type until the "is growing new feathers" message.
Please submit this Data Gathering Form
To clarify: What I mean by a single snack type is one session where you feed (for example) all Valfruit and end the session when one "is growing new feathers" message is received.
sample:
starting color: Desert Yellow
type of snack: Valfruit
Number fed before you got the "is growing new feathers" message: 5
Resulting color: Salmon Pink
Thank you for your help!

lyrical melody if i may suggest you change your website to allow multiples since creating a color doesn't just happen with one fruit

I set out on a quest to get a Snow White chocobo. I'm trying to use the same method described here by Syrehn and compare the results.
Syrehn
Me
Feed #1:
3 Cieldalaes Pineapple (1 "feather" message)
Result: Honey Yellow
5 Cieldalaes Pineapple (1 "feather" message)
Result: Honey Yellow
Feed #2:
4 Doman Plum (1 "feather" message)
Result: Cream Yellow
1 Doman Plum (1 "feather" message)
Result: Cream Yellow
I'm waiting for my fruit to be done to mimic the third feed, but at least so far it's more proof that it's the "feather" message that is the deciding factor, not the number of fruit.
Well this is fun...
In 2 feedings I got to snow white...
First feeding 1 doman plum for the plumage will change, then 3 more for new feathers grow then another feeding but this time 1 plumage will change and one feathers will grow (all doman plums)
While this is true, we need to focus on single data point, X, first, and understand what it does, before we make it more complicated and play with X, Y, and Z combinations.
May I suggest you do a drop down selection for the colors? This will remove any input inconsistency. There are 85 colors defined in game.
IE:
milloncorn yellow
milloncorn
Millioncorn
Milloncorn Yellow
Milloncorn yellow
