Chocobo Dye Experimentation

I am in Dalamud Red ->Blood Red, but since I saw a board post that indicated that Wine Red was received via Dalamud + Apples, this is what I am trying to do (so I'm not using various fruits + Dalamud at this point). It feels like... I have to get a "success" to move on to the Wine Red, but if it "fails" I get smacked a step backward (Blood Red).

I have a feeling we might see some chocobo coloring fixes with this upcoming hotfix.

Are you aiming for Wine Red? Currently have a guinea pig doing Dalamad -> Apple -> result pending. I'm thinking it'll put him into Wine Red.
