So colour, much science... WOW...

As posted HERE, from what I can see now we have the following:

1) There is a normal straight, no RNG nonsense, line for each type of fruit. You can see this clearly in my spreadsheet.

2) There is RNG. RNG factor will cause you to:
- Skip ahead 1, maybe even 2, colours
- Give you a bust. Feather proc but no colour change
- Set you in a colour line of another fruit
- Land you at a rare or uncommon colour for your type of fruit (EG, going from Lavender Purple to Raptor Blue with O'Ghomorro Berry as happened with me)

3) RGB, thanks to Attackat, seems to be the factor that SE based their presets on. These presets will be within RGB code range. (Attackat, feel free to correct me!)

4) You cannot tweak your colour by adding or subtracting OR mixing fruits.

This info is slowly starting to become fact, in my opinion.

What are your thoughts on this folks?

So after trying for days i'm very close too soot black. I'm at deepwood so should i feed 1 Valfruit?

Only 1 response so far in my sheet. Deepwood Green -> Valfruit -> Currant Purple.
No idea what RNG can do here.

I see a lot of people posting that they got soot black from valfruit i feed mine 3 only the last one said growing new feather. Should i take him out then? if i do what you think i should feed him to get him to black?

Can anyone make any suggestions to get to colibri pink. I'm stuck at coral pink and keep getting plum purple. From coral pink i only fed plums till i got the growing new feather message and got plum purple. I was able to go back to coral pink so this time from coral pink i fed valfruit till i got the growing new feather message and got plum purple AGAIN Is rng just messing with me or am i doing something wrong?

All you had to do was feed it Valfruit from Desert Yellow.

Let's see, Plum Purple (starting to dislike this colour LOL!).. Plum Purple -> Mamook Pear -> Lavender Purple -> Valfruit -> Colibri Pink.

It is NO guarantee since RNG is involved. But you can try that. Stop at each feather proc, check colour after 6 hours. Just check my sheet.

You can wait, that would be wonderful for the information. Let us know what you get. Like I said, RNG is still involved here.
In fact, it would be interesting to see what happens after Currant Purple and you feed more Valfruit.

That's the problem I was only using valfruit from desert yellow and after coral pink it went to plum purple.

so trying to get rolanberry red, I fed berries to my chocobo when it was dalamud red, and instead it went straight to Regal Purple Now trying a combo of valfruit and apples to get back to red.

That's entirely possible since Regal Purple is VERY close to Rolanberry. I hit Rolanberry my first time through. This time I landed on Regal Purple myself (which may be due to my valfruit feed before).
I just fed mine a single apple which proc'd the new feather message. Hopefully that puts back to Rolanberry in 6hrs.

Getting bitten in the a** too with all this stuff. Need to sit down and chart out a color wheel based on RGB value. All these numbers are throwning things off.

Bird was Royal Blue, so I tried to get to Mightnight blue. Searched the forum and found someone did it w apples. Fed my 3 apples and got feather proc message, this morning it is Regal Purple. (Not mapped in PNG mapping.) So, will attempt to loop back via more berries.
