Generally speaking, only new people will need/want all the exp from Aurum Vale - people levelling a second class, for the most part, will only do the first room of AV for exp.
New people won't know that you get bonus exp from the fruit if you let them spawn into mobs.
Unless you have a full party of newbies, you'll get synced 50s desperate to get out of that horrible dungeon as fast as possible, which means not letting the fruit spawn morbols. Basically, it's pointless to expect people to want to get full exp there and to know how to do it even if they need it. Also, a surprising number of people just don't read the chat, even approaching level 50 =/ So asking doesn't always work either.

Regardless, you really shouldn't punish yourself by running AV over and over =P I groan internally whenever it comes up in roulette, it's 100% the worst dungeon in the game to pug xD

I love the dungeon too. But I also tank it so I have a lot of control over things. Seeing how my crafters are not up there, it's the best place for me to grab some level 49 gear, slap on, and make material. Usually right from the start I will ask the group full clear or straight through, and let pods spawn for exp or no? Unless it's full 50s, then, yeah I don't bother.

The things I hate, is a tank or healer getting that dungeon and immediately leaving, leaving behind a stranded few people. Or, as soon as someone hits 50 they leave. But, those are the people, nothing with the dungeon itself.

Because not everyone is there for the exp? Some want the roulette bonus, some want it for Atma books, some want it for storyline.

They are the ones doing it right.

Even if you are doing AV solely for the exp, you're still doing it wrong by not just spamming the first room over and over.

If I'm running low level roulettes and someone wants a full clear of Stone Vigil, for example, I grit my teeth and do it, but there's no way I will create extra mobs.

It's pretty much my favorite dungeon. ^^ I always get a little excited when I get it in Roulette because people so rarely do it.

If you enter Duty Roulette or solo Duty Finder, go with the majority. If you want it your way, use PF and look for people who agree to your terms beforehand.

I think this has been said several times all ready, but as a tank. Don't expect me to just full clear a dungeon for you if you don't say anything. If you don't ask for a full clear, then I'm going to try and get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible so we can all move on with our lives. Speaking up is key, and no one seems to do this until they get butt hurt that I leave mobs behind/etc. You say you want the XP and people probably won't mind unless they have some pressing matter to attend.

As far as this particular point, that bonus is given to you for your good will for helping players more or less. It sucks to get this or CC for your book. But if your looking for a SR of it, it might be quicker to ask some FC mates, or just PF it, chances are there's other players on your server that need the dungeon as well. But I will agree there is another part of this, players who sole purpose is to get exp, there is much faster alternatives, then to do the entire AV. First room exp spam seems to be the best if your looking for exp.
