I think this has been said several times all ready, but as a tank. Don't expect me to just full clear a dungeon for you if you don't say anything. If you don't ask for a full clear, then I'm going to try and get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible so we can all move on with our lives. Speaking up is key, and no one seems to do this until they get butt hurt that I leave mobs behind/etc. You say you want the XP and people probably won't mind unless they have some pressing matter to attend.

Yes, I can get understand if you're 50; you don't want to spend the extra time. But these are 47-49 I'm talking about. They're passing up tens of thousands of exp (several fates worth) when it only takes a couple minutes, five at most to kill all the seedlings. Really is no good reason to skip them if you need exp.

And for those wondering why I don't just do first room speed runs, I don't grind like that. I hate grinding like that. I already do enough tedious shit in this game, and I've done enough Bray HM runs to never want to do partial dungeon speed runs again. I need variety in this game. As I said before, I do other things in the game while waiting for AV to pop. So no, I'm not doing anything "wrong".

Really, it comes down to communication before you start, or you make a PF stating you will clear all let's say.

You can want whatever you like, there's 3 other members that have the same rights than you.

I don't mind that extra time, if the majority don't mind as well. But I still agree with others (and tested it myself - First room up to first boss ,kill first boss since we still have time before the 15 minutes, rince and repeat, goes faster xp-wise)

If you love the AV scenery and want to see them sprouting, up to you. But since if I read correctly, you want them to germinate to get XP (in order to maximize XP and lvl up)

Then if leveling ASAP is your goal, like everyone else --> (first room only) - please debate if you want, been working for me and mates ^^

And yes, I am one of those type that hates speedruns and brayflox hm, Tam-Tara HM (last boss fight is sooo good!) and Hullbreaker are very refreshing now (Stone Vigil HM is meh for me), until I will feel again the repetitive syndrome.

Lucky for us, 2.4 is coming and then we can expect new maps? or at least new dungeons.

I did AV the other night with a friend. I was the tank. Early on someone asked if we could go for XP and kill everything and let the seeds germinate. Had no problem doing just that and it ended up being a fun run. Had they not asked, we would not have gone through killing everything.

It you don't speak up, others don't know that you want to do it a certain way. Or, in the case of seeds, others might not realize there's more XP to be had by letting them germinate. I had just never thought of that, since the dungeon mechanic pushes you to killing them before germination. Other times, people just won't want to. Unfortunately, that's how things go with DF. Everyone has their own goals and no one agreed to anything before starting.

That will destroy the dungeon just like every other level 50 dungeon out there. Suddenly people can rush through there with ilvl 100? No thanks.

Fruits are before second boss. How do I know you aren't a laggy weak dodger. I could spend three wipes on that boss. I will get nothing. But you got your xp. This is why you see tanks drop as soon as they see it pop. The penalty is worth avoiding the headache.

How about we agree to help you clear and get some xp. And you agree not to be greedy. This was the most common in progress low level roulette on my tank. If I said kill them lets get out of here and people would spawn them. And people would spawn to try to force xp. I would just leave. SE bribes 50s to help people complete content. I depreciate it from both sides. But they surely don't give them enough to be forced to kill every mob in the game.

Well sense everyone is saying ask if you want to leave the eggs alone, maybe also ask if you want to kill them to be fair? I know when i get this randomly on a roulette I want to just SR it, but if i come back and am leveling a job, and I need EXP I want to let them spawn.
