So you can't pvp unless you have stat advantage over people? Am I missing something here? You actually WANT gear grind? >8D

If it's an advantage is there for everyone to take. and I also don't see it as a gear grind because pvp is fun.
Here's what you're missing.. reward and advancement. Victories, strategy, gut and skill should be rewarded in pvp with pvp gear and maybe a ranking system. it's makes players thrive for refinement and perfection. Reaching a level of pvp where gear is not the winning factor but it contributes to pvp gameplay outcome, along with skill and strategy.
Pvp gear and a possible open world pvp server or area should not be feared or attacked by our pve community. Nonsupporters of morale or openworld pvp simply can simply not set foot in there, simple.
Simple solution. Don't put the advantage in-game. And learn-to-play w/o needing to overgear?
Yh I'm all for pvp everywhere, openworld included. I will immediately server transfer to a dedicated pvp server when Yoshi opens it up. Having come from an ow pvp game ( tera ) I know I'm gonna love it. I still don't understand what positive effect morale will do for pvp tho. You say reward, but wining is the reward. And fun. Not overgearing people so you can stomp them. This outdated "gear up to kill noobs" pvp mentality has to stop, and I already have the feeling SE understand this too. Wolves den --->Failure. Frontlines--->Beaming success. People rather rely on skill to win, and not have to do 348048904 day geargrind just to be on even playing field. Play for fun. Gear =/= fun. I can tell you, from my experiences on other games, equalised pvp seperates the men from the boys.
And I ask you ( whatever community you belong to ) to not fear pvping w/o being overgeared so much.
