I just want to play Frontlines...

I always wait 20-30m per que. I have talked with other people on my server and that is not the case for them. Even members in my FC who are also in my GC say they never wait more then 10 min. The only difference is our pvp rank. I am 31 and most of my FC friends are 10ish. It is too small of a sample to really get a good read. I know in Wolves Den they try to match equal ranks against each other. This is not the case for Frontlines is it?


What server, GC, wait times does everyone have?

The class you queue on affects the speed of your queues.

Also, obviously what time/day you're queuing would also matter...

The time of day does affect it..as for the first..I seriously hope you're joking.

Think the main problem is the rank, I'm 30 and I can sometimes wait more than 100mins without anything depending the hour of the day (no matter wich job I tag)

There's not a lot of people around those rank, the matchmaking for the front should be around 10 rank gap, I wouldn't mind playing against rank 40 if I wasn't forced to wait hours to play 2/3 games a day -_-

Does Frontlines match based on rank? I am pretty sure it completely ignores rank. I think the biggest factor is time of day and popularity of your GC.

I think there is something like : you won't get pop if the game does not have focus
I'm used to watch series waiting wolve's den pop, and a lot of times i am waiting so long without any pop, and when i click on game to set focus on it, i got the pop in the next 10 sec... Like the duty finder was waiting me to come back into game to say " HEY YOU CAN ENTER ARENA IF YOU WANT"...

This happens so many times, like litterally raging on skype "Fuck of 45 min without Q pop", stop watching some series, click on FFXIV to resume game and "pouf" Q pop...

If there is really something about it, this really suxx, like we must be doing something IG ALL DAY LONG while waiting to do some pvp ....

This is confirmation bias, i have tonnes of pops while i'm alt tabbed because in queue i'm either working on the pvp tools spreadsheet or watching movies/streams

I think it does, heard a lot of people R40 waiting less than 10min for a match. Game propably try to get a sum for the 3 raid within a 5 rank gap.
So with most of the people in frontline being R40 already it's probably harder to find between rank 25 to 35.

May be wrong though, nothing official being revealed about how the matchmaking work. Just hope SE see an issue here, waiting hours to play a match is not right.

aether datacenter, maelstrong, rank 35, wait times vary. usually when it goes over 30 mins i'll requeue and get in within 10 mins.

Guy in my fc last night sat and waiting for an hour while i went and did 3 frontlines battles. he is also maelstrong but sub rank 30.
