i completely agree, mostly because of the imbalance it creates in different areas of pvp. if healers are balanced around surviving in arena and cooldowns are the only thing allowing that to happen, then they will always be overpowered in frontline.

the shortness of frontline battles combined with the large amounts of downtime in between means healers can have a higher concentration of cooldown uptime during fights, and no group can expect to kill a good healer until they've run out. this is the main reason healers are so strong in frontline. if there was less focus on cooldown availability and usage, you could see healers or their teammates die much sooner with well timed interrupts, and mp management might actually become a factor in longer fights.
