Hello everyone,

In every other game that I have played, caster spells are simply pushed back (time added to the cast) when they take damage. Imagine my disappointment when I see that any physical damage straight up interrupts casts in ff14

Why is this a thing? People say swiftcast, equanimity, ect. What im wondering is, why is it ok for casters to get to use abilities for only short periods of time? Best case, equanimity is 15 seconds of no interruption every 180 seconds. That's assuming the other players don't stun or otherwise CC you when they notice interrupts aren't working.

This game seems to cater to casuals a *lot*. I don't really agree with that in most cases, but this seems to be the polar opposite in terms of caster game play. Why on earth did a top end PvPer (Yoshi P) OK this model?

Thoughts? Devs? Super disappointing with PvP as it is, and several of my friends feel the same way. We're all new to the game and are trying to adjust, but this just seems ridiculous.
