    QoL Suggestion - Job Change Cooldown Adjustment

    Hey folks! With the new Ixali Tribals, I was wondering if we could have the Job Change cooldown for abilities be dropped to 0 when changing from a DoH/DoL class to a DoW/DoM class. I get the need for cooldowns being a thing when switching between DoW/DoM classes, but I do like to be a bit more combat-ready when I am currently crafting or gathering, especially when doing so in an area that has a lot of enemies or, much like in the Ixali Beast Tribes, expected to switch between DoW/DoM and DoH quite frequently.

    Note: This is not asking for a complete cooldown removal from everything. Just when switching from Disciple of Hand (Crafting) / Disciple of Land (Gathering) class to a Disciple of War (Combat) / Disciple of Magic (Combat) class.

    I put in a loophole, then thought I read wrong, deleted, post, found out I read correctly, so putting the loophole back in here.

    So, instead of changing from one DoWM class to another DoWM, there is no cooldown timer for changing to DoHL. So, with your idea implemented, change from DoWM to DoHL, then to your DoWM and avoid the cooldown altogether.

    I wouldn't say remove the cooldown, due to the above loophole, but maybe shorten it by half?

    Good idea, but not hugely urgent due to the loophole up there and the fact that the CD is over if you change to DoW/M in the camp before heading to the combat section and then back to DoH for the ride back.

    This delay in swapping jobs, is EXACTLY the reason, when I got Bravura Atma and was doing those books, I immediately got Bravura Zenith again. that way, a quick weapon change, and I don't have to wait 30 seconds to get that potential Atma Fate right next to me. Then, swap back to Atma (now it's Novus) Bravura, and no downtime while I do something non-Atma Fate related.

    This idea I do like. Especially when you are in one of them camps, DF as a job, then swap to something else, maybe crafting in one of the little towns, When DF pops, you swap to your Job, and if you get in without delay you are now in a dungeon with all of your abilities on cooldown. As a healer/tank it's more of an issue.

    Can someone explain what the problem is with switching between battle classes without the cooldown period to begin with? You can't change classes in combat, nor in dungeons, what exactly is the exploit they are trying to prevent here. It just seems like a waste of time for no reason.

    Honestly, I have no idea. Something about "balance" or whatever. I never understood it, but I just figured most people obeyed it because "limitations = reasons" so I didn't even bother asking.
