Again, this is just CREATIVELY THINKING AND DREAMING, we all do know, how this will be implemented. The Loot system will remain where it is now and will forever be that way, in the end even if how much I try to whimsically dream on how perfect Monster Hunter Reward System is, THIS IS NOT MONSTER HUNTER lol! So I guess, either I just shut the hell up and play, or leave others in peace. I am just sharing my frustration and ideas, that's all.

Finding peace in the notion that the "X Files" slogan works also here for me..."YOU ARE NOT ALONE! THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE"

Sound's like you're looking for something similar to diablo III's smart loot system, in which each player gets their own loot pool and the items dropped are related to the players class. Personally i prefer what it is now simply because people would be gearing too fast and it would lead to a smaller comunity as people have no reason to grind content when they have what they want.

The thing with receiving crafting items in the instance to make whatever gear/weapon you're trying to get, is it still involves RNG. I.e. You may get extremely lucky and see your gear drop from instance. Which is what we have now. With asking for crafting mats to drop you'll be hitting your head against your desk a whole lot more. It makes no sense. RNG is still gonna be in play with craft items drops. Now instead of getting your gear in 1 week(I know not likely to happen), you would rather wait 8-10 plus weeks to get all the crafting items to make said piece? And thats being generous in time because with the RNG you're gonna have multiple crafting items for the stuff you don't need anymore of, and none of the ones you do.

I think people here will not be able to understand our point, if they have not played the game. They will always think that it is impossible and very time consuming. Trust me there is nothing more time consuming, than running an EX primal over and over again, without even a single drop for your class, and at the end of the day you have nothing, NOW THAT IS A WASTE.

I mean how many times did we waited for a good party, and eventually after the quest when either the Tank or the Heals get their item, they go away and the whole team disbands because of that? It is a classic, I tell you.

In Monster Hunter, Rarely would a party disband because one player obtained a rare material. Because of the fact that, you do not need only 1 material to create the armor or weapon, you need a couple of common drops, a handful of uncommon drops and maybe just 1 rare drop. So in the process of farming with the same team, other players are rewarded too, so by the time one player has what he all needs and decided to call it a day, other players have also more or less obtained several things on their part.

Point here, EVERYONE is rewarded, unlike in Ex Primal only 1 is rewarded. If you consider 10 tomes as a fair compensation for the item you did not obtain, then it is fair I guess.

Nothing is a waste also in that game, Parts that you have as extras, can be sold to NPC for coin, which really fetch a very high price that you can use to buy things. You can also save those extra parts, so that you will no longer farm that same monster when you need them in the future. OR you can use them to craft armors for your minion! Some parts can be used to combine with certain items for creating even more potent potions. At the end of the day, even if you have failed to get the part you need, you are left with a whole load of things that you can use in a multitude of ways, Here though, you get 10 tomes after an Ex Trial, a Party disbanding and several hours wasted in finding yet another party and doing the same thing.
