I have experienced this atleast 5 times and 3 times the lvl 50 was a tank leaving the rest of us stranded in there, one of the tanks did it in a comical troll way of helping us beat some bosses and by telling us what to do at those bosses and when we got to two random mobs poof the tanks vanished
