Hi guys,

Reasons and opinions aside why I might be testing ARCHER in PVP, I have been experiencing noticeably LOWER numbers appearing while playing my ARCHER rather than my BARD in PVP.

I am aware of the fact the Job crystal reduces your dexterity by 20, however the damage reduction I am experiencing is MUCH higher. Around 30-50%

I have tested this outside PVP on a lvl 50 training dummy, and did not experience such a large difference.

However, because this problem is within Frontlines, it is very difficult to test and give you concrete numbers, however the difference is approximately 50% damage so it is quite significant.

IN CONCLUSION MY FINDINGS SHOW:

IN FRONTLINES:
Archer DMG: LOW (consistantly low ~50%dmg)
Bard DMG: NORMAL (changes with distance)

OUTSIDE FRONTLINES:
Archer DMG: NORMAL (does not change with distance 100% dmg)
Bard DMG: NORMAL (does not change with distance 100% dmg)

However, the biggest clue is that I've noticed that Farshot, the PVP skill that does NOT take ARC/BRD's distance nerf into consideration hits for approximately the same amount for both Bard and Archer.

In other words,

HYPOTHESIS: Archers AND Bards have a damage nerf in Frontlines to 50%, however only BARDS can regain damage by being the correct distance away from the target.

FOR WHATEVER REASON THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR ARCHERS. I WOULD LIKE TO CONFIRM WHETHER OR NOT THIS IS A BUG. IF IT IS INTENTIONAL THERE ARE SERIOUS IMPLICATION TO THE THE "CLASS SYSTEM".
