I was just logging in as it popped up saying to log out, it sucks, but it's better to deal with this one or two days rather than have an unstable game imo, I gladly take that trade off

Any word about a test server? Might be beneficial to test all these patches under real player conditions before making them live, avoid crap like this.

Choose a different time. You effect the same people with your static time. Give us late nighters a break, we can't choose our free time.

People are out at work or in schools (7 am - 10 am GMT is the maintainence here)
I have bad luck because I have a free day today. But instead to complain I just do something else during the time.

Have you considered that the reason the maint happens at the same time is because it normally starts around 4 pm JST, or right around the time where they'd have the whole day to prepare in the office then as most are leaving let the patch run while someone stays a little late to make sure nothing goes wrong?

Also wouldn't this be JP prime time pretty sure they're more affected than NA and the times have still remained the same for a year.

So exactly how many times have you been interrupted recently? There doesn't seem to have been enough outages to justify the complaining. You need solid evidence to support your claim of poor customer servicr or no-one is going to listen. I would suggest a list of outages for the past... 6 months? With how this has impacted you and your static or whatever directly. Then someone might appreciate where you're coming from. Otherwise you just sound whiney.

I'm not in that group myself, hence "people" and "they" instead of "we." The someone appreciating where they're coming from is me!

In fact, my schedule changes a lot, so if anything I'm saying that my group (unpredictable people) should be the ones hit hardest by emergency maintenance, since it would be sheer dumb luck at that point instead of "work swing shift, get hit by every maintenance every time" which we have now.

Also it's common knowledge emergency maintenance takes place at midnight Pacific time. Your list is in the Lodestone archives.

Now this is a good counterpoint I did not consider. I had assumed this was only the Montreal servers' maintenance time and that the ones in Japan had a different time, but checking the Japanese Lodestone I see that's not the case.

I still think they should change it to provide more even service, but given this information you are probably right - they're not looking at it from the standpoint of interruption of service, but planning around something else like their own office schedules.

aye as a role reversal lets take the past 6 month of Maint times and shift them by 12 hrs change the am to pm, how many of teh "deal with it crowd would suddenly be emulating the "vocal minority", considering yes it's "only" 3 hrs tonight, so far, but when you get hit with them EVERY SINGLE TIME, it does become more of an annoyance,as has been said we do pay the same subscription fee, for the same game, yet we are the ones most often hit with the planned and unplanned downtimes.

No, you gave me a link I have no intention of looking at. I'm not SE. I can't help you. I'm suggesting how you could make your claim more believable to everyone else. The fact that still no-one has suggests to me people are infact just whiney.
