DF is broke on Primal data center

last couple of days there has been insane wait times to do certain dungeons and trails.

today was trying to help a friend today with battle on the big bridge so partied up and qued df for it. ended up seeing the wait time more than 30 min and one of us was on healer the other on tank... how can it possibly b more than 30 min when people que for a roulette dungeon and this can be one of the fights. so in 30+ min we don't get 8 people doing that one roulette.

then last night had a friend doing a lowbie dungeon and one of the dds left. after about 15 min waiting he said in the fc hey can one of u join in progress as a dd in toto rak. proceeded to try and que in progress that dungeon for 25 min and no bite and that whole time no one even joined that group he was in.

then don't even get me started on frontlines because that's a mess all in itself. a activity where no roles need to be locked in and a tier system if it starts taking too long and ques r still well over 100 min unless u sit there and constantly withdraw and reque to try and get an in progress run. but if u just sit there it will never que.

Battle on the big bridge is always a very long wait since there's almost no point to re do it. That said it's best to use party finder for that quest and 30min for a dps is almost the norm 20 to 30 min lowbie dungeons are all so long waits but you also say they were doing it at night so yea never try to do one at night or you end up playing the waiting game^^

Like I said before, It will only get worse.

I mentioned this in a topic and got attacked for it cause they didn't like my idea, cause it would force people to play their other jobs and level them up and start over.
They kept saying someone lost a lot but I could care less about losing lots im thinking of long term of the game, it keeps going this way because the game is based on dungeons it will slowly but surely get worse.

FFXI it happened also, party system when you flagged up after you did everything in missions to quest, people were having issues finding partys cause nobody was doing old stuff because it wasn't worth it, reason why they gimped all the content to the ground, in FFXI when you flagged up people would wait like 5 hours or all day for a party and just log out.

It will be the same here, give it about a year, nobody going back to do old stuff cause the way they have it setup is one job does everything.

It should of been if you re-play another job you have to do 3 primal fights again and even the relic weapon fights and battle of bridge fights.

the way they have it is fate grind 50, use gear you lotted with other 50 and use stones you obtained get rowena letters and sycus tower stone skip everything.

Just like FFXI skipping the new players who come in screwing them over.

Why do you have to do certain fights again just to swap jobs?

ok, first, you do have to do the relic quests over completely for each relic. you dont have to do it once and get a free pass for every other relic you want to make.

second, people do low level roulette, which will put them in any low level dungeon(obviously). i queue for that as tank, healer, or dps, depending on what i feel like.

you cant force someone to build up every class and force them to do every story related thing there is. i only play the level related dungeons for the class im building. people dont fate grind completely to 50 like you seem to think they do. if you play at night, youll be lucky to get anything, ive waited 40 minutes for a dps, we made it from the first boss all the way to the end of the dungeon. nothing is broken, its just that you feel like you should be catered to. "oh, it takes forever to get in a dungeon and sometimes you cant even get replacements, so everyone should be forced to do low level stuff and level up other classes".

i join in progress for everything, and sometimes i will withdraw if i dont get on already in progress. you just have bad luck.

I'm not sure you understand how the DF works. For trials, whenever you queue for something most people are pulled from trial roulette, the thing is from what I've seen they set trial roulette based on some harsh priorities, Chimera, Hydra and the three HM primals involved with relic will have priority over anything else, even as a DPS the wait time for those five trials is close to none in a peak hour, but the other trials have a much lower priority, you still have to wait an insane amount of time to get to Cape Westwind, Gilgamesh, Levi HM and Ramuh HM and maybe Mog HM (actually not so sure about Mog) even if you queue with / as a tank or healer.

low level Duty roulette to help low level jobs for stones, people do hunts instead, just because you do it doesn't mean everyone does, I even stopped doing low level roulette, it has no worth to it.

People who do one job, get every piece of gear for their other jobs, do leves and fates to level up.

New players have to do story line but get stuck cause the story lines they get are hard to do because everyone is getting their stuff and not returning to older content because the rewards aren't as great as the ones they have now.

Some people who only want to play one job aren't gonna spend time doing dungeons again or even get another relic weapon.

All they are going to do is get rowena tokens, sycus tower tombstone and get weapons and time sand, skipping everything.

When more expanded things come its gonna get worse because the rewards for those places are gonna be more also if they keep going to dungeon route and putting these dungeons in a roulette doesn't mean people are going to do them.

they are going to spam one dungeon till they max the main stones.

I said this in FFXI before, if you weren't there for the boom, you missed it best shout for help but hard to do when the higher level players spend time in different zones.

just because some people dont do the roulettes, doesnt mean its broken. "it doesnt work the way i want it too, so its broken"
