There is a small amount of lag (about half a second) that can mess you up but I have not had these horrible experiences that some seem to. When connecting to your PS4 directly there is virtually no lag. There is about half a second lag when playing over wifi, I dont own a 3g model so I cant comment on that. When connecting using remote play I highly suggest you change some of your buttons around, namely swap the R2 with R1 and the L2 with L1 so that youdont have to use the back touchpad much I also suggest disabling R3. Change the settings so that the screen touch is only used as a push (disable its mouse function) and you essentially have it working rather easily. As far as quality I have done everything but coil at work over wifi. I mostly play healer and once you get used to the 0.5s lag its really not bad at all (again this is reduced connected directly to the PS4 to pretty much unnoticeable). Sometimes the screen will artifact but that almost always clears up in like 1~2 seconds.
Ok, when you say "wifi" do you mean the same network? Or are you connecting with your Vita, from work, over the internet (aka WAN), to your PS4 at home, and its playable? Just wondering, like I said I never bothered to try since pretty much every single hands-on video or demonstration I saw of remote play with Vita<>PS4 said it didnt work. Including this one http://kotaku.com/ps4-remote-play-pu...est-1464725207 which says:

Sony recommends that you keep your Vita and PS4 on the same WiFi network for optimal use, but just for kicks, I also tested with other Kotaku staffers to see if we could get this thing working with different WiFi networks. Could Patricia use her Vita from San Francisco to control my PS4 in NYC? Nope. Could I use my Vita from uptown Manhattan to control Evan's PS4 downtown? Nope. Other permutations were equally unsuccessful.
.... again, these are release tests. Im sure theyve since made some advancements to it since then but im still skeptical that itll work over the internet. Even my own tests at both mine and parents home showed it was unstable if you got too far from the router (again, coinciding with other videos like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miBEL9_Gy_s), much less over the web.
