That guide is absolutely terrible, you should never waste buffs using them before you even pull.
I get that it's supposed to be joke-y, but someone is going to read it and think that's the correct way to pull, and that's not good.
So put Tomahawk before Unchained and it's okay? ^_^
The actual flow chart is a joke, however, the ability rundown on the right is actually somewhat helpful for those brand new to WAR. ^.-
Thanks everyone for the help and especially this link even tho it wasn't what I was asking it's a great help.
This chart won the thread.
Honestly, it's kind of hard to know without knowing the rest of the bar set up. Brutal Swing's important, but when I play with a gamepad, that's one of the skills that's always visible, and if it's a fight where I need it, I'm watching for its CD anyway. Since WAR doesn't have random procs like BLM, I think I'd put stuff on those slots that isn't always visible and that I want to use almost on cooldown. For me, defensive CDs are like... I'd better know about those without the extra prompting, because if something's coming up that's going to make me want to use one, I'll be checking which one to use. Offensive CDs or Bloodbath are not super crucial most of the time, so I wouldn't be thinking about them, and an extra reminder would actually help.
So maybe Unchained, Berserk, IR, Bloodbath.
10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.
