Axe in the Stone Quest

I think that I am having a technical issue with the game, or a quest or my system. I don't know which...but I need help, please!!!!


Frequency: Continuous
World name: Famfrit
Character name: Rowan Kara
Class/Level: Marauder/13 (have been trying this since Level 5!)
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: 20= hours
Area and coordinates: Sommerfield
Steps:
1. Get quest from Marauders Guild
2. Go to Sommerfield, talk to person in field.
3. See three sparkling rocks. Go over to them, select them and then HIT them!!

Connection Specs
- Type of internet connection/provider: AT&T Wireless Network (mine) Secured.


Gamepad Manufacturer: PS3 by Sony
Controller Only...Sony PS3 Wireless (fully charged)

I keep attempting this Quest. Then after several tries, I abandon this quest. I later pick it up, again. And again, no go.

I see the highlighted rocks. I them select it and attempt to hit it with my Axe. My axe will complete NO actions!!!! I can highlight the rock, or select it. Get the arrow pointing down at it...but NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS!!!!

I have been to the Forums under In Game Bugs. I went through email to your company and got no satisfaction their...I was told to go to the Forum And I have to complete this quest in my Guild to move on to better things and other jobs.

I need some help!!!! And, I believe that their is a glitch in here! As I can do every other Quest.

So, can or will you PLEASE HELP ME????

Just to clarify are you attempting to hit them with the specific skill it tells you to use?

Yes Ma'am. It says to hit it with a heavy axe hit. And, I can't hit it with anything at all, as my axe will not come off my back.

I may just be repeating the same question, but are you using a heavy axe hit or the actual Level 1 Marauder move "Heavy Swing"? You need to use the actual move for the quest.

It says, "Use Heavy Swing"...so how do I do that? If I am doing it wrong? I use the PS3 Controller. And, so far, I haven't had any issues. I target with the "X" button and hit with it as well. No problem beating monsters, doing other quests, or doing FATES. But, cant get the "X" button to do anything other then target the rocks...put the white arrow that points down to it here. Thank you!!

This icon / Action called "heavy swing" . You are using that?

Smash the three rocks (doesnt say anything about heavy swing), then speak with Rhotgeim again, then smash the rocks a second time, this time using Skull Sunder . Speak to Rhotgeim a third time, then return to the guild and talk with Wyrnzoen

I spoke with Rhotgeim, and my next thing says, use Heavy Swing to destroy the solid rocks. 0/3. I am brand new to the game...just started Friday night. And, I obviously am TOTALLY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW...as I can't figure out how to do ANY type, obviously of specific swings. And, I am searching the net, right now, trying to find out how, but I am NOT being successful! Rrrr... Thank you very much though!!
