From what I heard Microsoft allowed XI on XBL silver because it was still new and they wanted people to see what XBL could do, and what better way than with a MMO.

But yeah its because Microsoft want a cut of all subscription fees from 14 to have it on xbox and SE will not give in to puny Microsoft

Actually this is only part of the issue, the other part is that Microsoft doesn't want any game on the 360 able to interact with any players from the PS3 version of that multiplatform game. this is why Portal 2 only works on PS3 and PC for cross platform and the 360 players are stuck playing by themselves.

This is only a example on why M$ does not allow ps3 and xbox to play together.

That has nothing to do with the quality of the hardware.

And what quality hardware are you talking about? Mine plays fine and I prefer my 360 to my PS3.
It's not always about how great the graphics are because in the case of XIV.. well I'll rest my case

All things considered I would say its still too soon to speculate a possible WiiU release.

It has a lower graphical level than the 360 does, but so many people are hating on the 360?

What we are talking about is the hardware capabilities, not the online services, also PSN had a complete overhaul of its infrastructure from the hack which takes a long time to completly replace and reconfigure hardware that can handle 11 million users.

There's no legitimate reason for a cross-platform online game, like XIV is supposed to be, to even touch PSN.
