Did you just get off the carriage in one of the few starting cities without being told which way was up? Are you at the end of your game and trying to find excuses to do Titan Extreme just one more time? Or maybe you're somewhere in the middle, and you can't find that worm to put on your fishing hook. Maybe you just need a new perspective on things...a Tinfoil perspective, perhaps?

Then allow me to express to you the joys and wonders of wearing a Tinfoil Hat!

I of the Tinfoil Hat «Hats!» is a "midcore" Free Company founded by a FFXI vet and his herpin' derpin' fiancée (that's me). We are hoping to build a home—a relaxed and caring Free Company, where everyone is familiar and considered family (no more than 40 or so members, excluding Alts). There are no gear/progression requirements, coil checks or hierarchies. Everyone is created equal.



Our Objective is Simple
We want to help you get to the end of your game without being competitive, "elitist" or hardcore about it. Also, we believe in real life and understand when you have to step away because your bulldog brought the kiddie pool inside again. It happens.

We use mumble for shenanigans. Should we receive enough interest, we are willing to upgrade our server. You are not required to use it, but we welcome you to stay and listen if you would like to. Just ignore Simic. Just kidding.

Sounds interesting. I've got a couple questions.

Will there be any age requirement? I'm new to the game and the server and looking for a "mature" Free Company. Mature as in age. I've been looking for something 25+ but as long as members are in their 20's I'm good with that.

Will voice comms be a requirement? I'm currently playing on a PS4 and my PC is a little too far away to use for that.

Anyways, I'll try and see if I can find you in-game too.

Most likely we will be recruiting members who are 18+, so long as they can get along with a group who enjoys casual, grown-up, sometimes dirty humor. If it helps, I am 25 and my fiancé is 22.

Mumble is definitely not a requirement, and we understand that not everyone has access to that kind of thing. If you're comfortable using a keyboard, so are we. ^^

We will be away from the game for approximately one day (tomorrow) while we drive 18 hours back to our home state. If you are still interested in meeting us in-game by then, I will do my best to find you as well.

If you have any more questions regarding the Free Company, or even the game, please ask. I will do my best to answer them.
