FATEs for daily hunt (and Animus books, etc.) still taking forever?

I had the extreme misfortune of getting both Make it Rain *and* Giant Seps for my mark bill FATEs today. All in all it was a six hour affair to finish them, which feels completely unsustainable long term. I've been thinking about starting a second Animus lately and this was definitely a reminder of the pitfalls of the system. There's a theoretical allowance of 274 Allied Seals per week but if I keep getting similar luck with FATEs I'm not sure I'll be making that cap all too often. Still, it's progress and there's always room for adjustment in the future.

Waited forever when i was doing books {thank god i'm done} and now i'm waiting for hunt fates "P ty SE love to wait^^ no but for real i bust out a book or craft

It took me a little over 3 hours to get both my fates done. I missed one of my fates when I was running around the zone clearing out other fates. Bad experience all around for a mere 20 points.

Sometimes I think the devs and GMs just like to mess with people.

One animus book required "Schism", which spawns within eyeshot of "Make it Rain". I stood there for two hours. "Make it Rain" spawned FOUR TIMES (a couple even spawned less than ten minutes apart) while I waited.

The next book, I see "Make it Rain". Hey, cool. This won't take long.

Three hours (and two occurrences of "Schism" later) it finally spawned.

Something is seriously wonky with how FATE spawning is randomized.
