Vote abandon fix is easy. If it's rejected then the person initiating it should be removed automatically with a 30 minute penalty. They already decided they want to leave when they initiated the vote, so why keep them? It has no effect when the vote is passed because the group as a whole wants to leave.

this is probably the most silly post I have seen in a long while. Ever thought for even a second that maybe the guy that initiate teh abandon actually truely believe that there is really no hope ? that is why there is a vote. you submit a proposal and is either accepted or refused...why should there be a punishment for the one that initiate such ???

Because 99% of the time someone randomly initiates a vote it's for their own selfish reasons to exit without penalty. Whenever I've been in a group that genuinely wanted to quit an instance it was discussed before the vote was initiated. You'd think twice about trying to force 23 other people to quit the instance so you don't have to wait to re-enter if there was a penalty for it. Again - my solution would not harm anyone using the vote in the way it was intended. The vote button wasn't added so people can spam it when they want to leave - that's the leave button.

The problem with CT is the fact that it is "older" content with outdated gears that nobody needs unless you want to glamour. The reward is not good enough. What they should have done is to bump up 250 myth, 50 soldiery, and 30 allied seals for Labyrinth of Ancients. On top of that, last Boss is guaranteed to drop one oil and one sand for the whole alliance to loot. You can only loot either one - the other will be locked once you cast vote - per run only. That will give people enough incentive since there is no lock out on the sand and oil - which is already "outdated" by the wreck-tastic that is The Hunt.

Unfortunately there is nothing SE can do. Let's look at it another way, why do you want to tell other's how they should play? The fact is back in alpha and beta we told everyone this would happen but they all said no it wont and here we are today. You all asked for it now you dont like it well its really too bad as we all warned you it would happen. No matter what SE dose player's will still continue to do what you dont like but by restricting all players just so you can do something isnt gonna help matter's either. I pay for this game to but if I want to withdraw for whatever reason thats my choice, I and everyone else should not be penalized because we went to do something else.

Yep, half the people here are asking for something that is already implemented. When you see the vote abandon window pop several times it's several people who think it's time to bail.

Also I fully agree on an 1 min penalty whenever someone withdraws.

Rather then a penalty for not accepting, a better solution would be to keep the same group that was queued up before the cancellation with the exception of those that backed out or did not respond by the time limit.
