Make crafter/gatherer "Artifact gear" available for battle classes to wear (glamours)

Please make the iLvl 55 crafter class specific gear usable on DoW/DoM. These gears look awesome, but are kinda wasted on crafters since they don't really do anything except sit there and craft. It could just be made for DoW/DoM and the specific crafter to use so it wouldn't change anything for the crafters. I would like to use my GSM gear and the alchemist coat for glamours, I feel like there is a lack of unique looking gear atm for glamours. :s

Back when they first announced glamour system is coming, I was totally ready to glamour my weaver hat on all classes, but alas.. XD

I really want this to happen, though I doubt it. But you never know :3

I am sorry but this is something I dont want to see. If they took this step next step is them needing to make everything available for every job. I hate almost every pair of gloves this game has why cant I use my WHM AF hands on all my jobs fits with my glamour outfits better. I hate the lack of WHM legs SCH skirt for my WHM please... where does it end. Yes there is a lack of unique glamou sets but giving away a jobs specific "look" is not a route I want to see them go and if they do then they better just make it so anyone can just glamour anything over so I can go back to my BLM wearing tank plate like I had in 1.0.

Ya, I can just imagine all of the posts if any gear could glamour on to anything about people need/greeding on gear JUST for glamour.

I would be completely fine if they allowed free glamouring. I mean it's already a little awkard and lopsided. Any character I want could look like a mage or crafter; but only a tank can possibly look like a tank.

If it's for "clarity" that we have to stick to what a class could equip, that seems really silly to me, because again, I can make my tank look like anything else I want, really. In PvP, where it is actually important that jobs are clearly visible, glamours are disabled.
EDIT: Note that since this topic was created, glamours were enabled for PvP.

So really, why not just open up glamours freely?
