I"m still trying to understand how they work. Currently we have regular marks which are dailies and Elite Marks which are weeklies. Regular Marks are nothing more than FATE bosses and kill 5 _____. Elite Marks are B's which don't drop rewards now but only complete weeklies.
So basically I'm doing Animus type grinding for dailies and one actually elite hunt a week. Do I understand this right?
Any B rank you have a bill for gives you 50 seals a week and the rest like you are saying. Yes are a lot like doing your books :P with out killing 100 mobs that is^^ but idk waiting for fates are not that bad you can read a book when waiting or craft :P and at the end of the weeked if you did this everyday you can end up with about 498 seals a week with out killing A or S rank that's not badI"m still trying to understand how they work. my guess is your not counting the 50 every week as well. As far as i know you get 10 bills per day right? 4 seals each mob and 10 seals for the 2 fates that's 64 seals a day right? and i was going from Monday-Sunday and if you add the 50 you get for the b that that's 498
you get 4 for all the mobs, not per mob, it is 32 per day
No, 274 is correct. You get 32 per day now, plus the 50 for the weekly.
You only get 5 per day. The only time 10 happens is if you accept and complete AFTER they reset, you can still get the ones for the new day.

Well I have to say I'm more disappointed now than I was with the zerg hunts. Let me explain. I actually think the changes to rank B are a good thing. On the other hand though I want to do hunts to find rare monster in the field that a mark calls out for. Not sure why they didn't make rank B dailies and make rank A the weeklies. Am already doing Animus so the fact that I have two pieces of content that require me to kill X amount of normal mobs and complete more FATEs is bummer. In my mind it should be:
4 Dailies = Rank B - solo
2 Weeklies = Rank A - Full Party
1 Monthly = Rank S - Alliance
Although, it's a tad silly to have the daily marks on normal monsters, but not that big of an issue in the design.I actually think the changes to rank B are a good thing. Would be slightly more pleasing to hunt some unique monster, than hunting something that sounds like a levequest.
The issue 2.35 patch is fixing is the problem before was the line between casual to hardcore was blending into each other.
Meaning, B ranks were shared between casual (the Elite Marks, weekly) and the hardcore people who are just killing time waiting for the next A and S ranks to pop.
This meant, before patch 2.35, a larger group of people would be killing B rank regardless if they had the Elite Marked bills or not.
I like to imagine the sharing of B rank was intentional to have casuals meet up with hardcore players, however it backfired due to the large turn out of players and how absurdly weak a B rank is.
Now, after patch 2.35, there's a distinct line from where these hunts divide.
Casuals: Daily Marks, Elite Marks B Ranks
Hardcore: A and S ranks
If you were to just make everything a time lock, it'll be essentially turning the whole Hunt system into a casual event.
Oppose to being an open alternative to getting Alexandrites for your Animus weapon, it'll push the hardcores back to grinding FATEs for alexandrite drops or DF for myth tomes.
Basically, think of back of simpler days with Duty Roulette.
Roulette was a nice addition for casuals to just cap their weekly tomes by playing a bit every day.
Hardcores couldn't care less since they would have just been finding the optimal dungeon that gives the most tomes for the least amount of time invested.
So, think of Marked Bills as Duty Roulette, and hunting A or S ranks as dungeon grinding if you have the extra time.

I find it dumb you're still killing normal mobs and FATEs.
Why not make the Weekly A rank and kill only B ranks for all bills.
