    Are we ever going to be able to remove LS members from our LS list?

    Our linkshell has plenty of members who have decided to quit playing, now they are stuck in our LS list because you can't remove members currently without seeing them physically in game, I am not going to even ask if, but "when" is this being rectified?

    {Yes please.}

    My members dislike it when we have to disband the linkshell and reform due to several members being inactive.

    There are a lot of things about the linkshell list that need to be overhauled. For a start, the ability to invite people without having to "pearl" them. It's antiquated and only worked in FFXI because the game was comparably small. With a world with the potential to be as large as FFXIV is, this will be needed.

    Additional ranks are also needed. Leader and Sacks didn't work well in XI, and it should be improved upon. In other games the leader can select the ranks and what permissions they have - permission to kick, permission to invite, permission to promote, no permissions at all (member). They also can choose the name of the ranks so that folks know at a glance who is a newbie on "probation" and who is a long-time veteran of the group. People can even hand off the guild if they need to by promoting someone else to the "leader" status. This is handy if the leader goes away to school or some other issue comes up. I know that in XI they didn't want to give this functionality because of some fear that the new leader wouldn't run the group the same as the old leader....

    But my argument to that is the leader is leaving. Period. That means the linkshell is about to fall apart, since we all know what happened when that shell icon stopped logging in. Folks have the choice to leave the linkshell if they don't like how it is being run just as they did before, so what is the actual problem with allowing the leader to hand it off to someone else?

    All of these things are available in every other moderm mmo (and some not so modern ones). There are too many limitations in XIV and the devs need to bring it out of 2004.
