Options for music?

I have loved FF for many years now, and one of the most amazing things is the soundtrack. I find that whilst doing dungeons or quests, or just general exploring that the amazing music is interupted by the battle music...
I would love to explore an entire dungeon only having the background music, without the battle music interupting
It also gets annoying when battling lots of single monsters in quick succession, when the music fades out, then comes back in, then fades out again...
Hope I'm not the only one who feels this way

Don't get me wrong, I love the battle music, and it's slight variations depending on where you are, but it does get annoying after a while

I'd simply be happy to have a jukebox in our private chambers. Maybe not all the songs, but some of them. It gets boring having to listen to the same track over and over again

I'd love to have a "disable all battle music" button... but there was already a dev post response on this and they pretty much said it isn't going to happen.

But maybe they'll reconsider if enough people want it?

and when you go dungeon it's like every 3 seconds the battle music pops up again, and although there are slight differences between areas, it's all still the same
I wanna be immersed in the game world, including the music :P

Oh I agree... it's gotten to the point where I turn music off for most dungeons (well part of that is some only have a 45 second intro song). And even overworld if I know I'll be aggroing lots of mobs. Love the coerthas music, if only I could keep battle music from interrupting it as I run through >.<

Well the devs were pleased with all the praise we showered them with the lost city of amdapor constant music. They did the same for tam tara HM.

We hear the same battle music for lower roulette, so its a nice start that certain dungeon have uninterrupted dungeon music

I want to be able to select from every chocobo theme in the series when riding mine.

Every chocobo theme.

Even those ones. Y'all know what I'm talkin' about.
