I don't know how I got Sylph Green from Cream Yellow. All I did was give it 5 Berries top darken Blue Hue, 5 Val to lighten Green Hue and 5 Doman to lighten Red Hue. Thus Cream yellow to Sylph Green. My choco looks pale as fk tbh.

Also Black is a common Chocobo Colour in FF lore...you people should be going for Rare colour Chocobo like Gold or White
I feed him all the fruits at the same time and its changed him into plum Purple![]()
Finally got my Dalamud Red. I started from: Desert Yellow -> Coral Pink -> Blood Red -> Dalamud Red.
I was able to achieve Meadow Green by feeding 14 O'Ghomoro Berry and 14 Mamook Pear

Calculator: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...9Z4/edit#gid=0
Make a copy of it as it's read only. Adjust the fields in white for fruit quantities and select current and desired color for adjustments.
You need the following for soot black:
apple 5
pear 10
berry 6
This should land you exactly on soot black, has the least difference of -1 with it so range is easy for you. If you've fed anything since then, let me know, I can recalculate and adjust bsed on what you gave.

Rorichan and kgbrown247, your answers are there!
Could someone explain to me what I need to feed to go from the starting color Desert Yellow to Wine Red? I've tried using the calculator and I've got the numerical values I need to go up/down by, but I can't actually figure out what I'm supposed to be feeding.
Well I didn't get feather proc after 1 feed of pineapples, it actually took 4 pineapple feeds to get Ink Blue, but I got it. And I'm kinda liking the color. Its the darkest and the blue does not show up when the sun hits the feathers, but instead a drk grey-ish blue.
So I think I'm sticking with Ink Blue. As I'm just 1 feed away from getting black, if I change my mind.
"You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war."
Should have probably added two pineapples instead, but let me know if this lands you on midnight blue.
Shadow blue to soot black:Now i've landed on Shadow blue. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips in order to get this colour down to Soot Black or if it would be better to start a fresh?
Colour in game:

(pineapple 1)
apple 3
pear 4
berry 3
Pineapple is optional, however, any variance that may occur with the others lands you on purple, green or ink blue if it's even a little, same as if you add or take any of them, the pineapple, will make it so you are that much closer to soot black if there is such variance, but an be fed on your next attempt too.
We're lots closer now at least, try with 2 apples and 4 pears.

I've been having an issue here which involves bouncing back and forth between Rolanberry Red and Abyssal Blue. This has happened three times now and I have no idea how to break the cycle, and go from Rolanberry Red to Midnight Blue in order to bring me closer to Soot Black. I keep hearing RNG is involved, so something tells me I should just keep trying to feed it berries during Rolanberry Red, but I'm stuck in a loop here, so I know if I do so, it's just going to bump me back a step to Abyssal Blue again ><
Any help with this would be much appreciated. My chocobo's level is 7 (since I've heard even your level can make a difference as to how much you need to feed it).
