From default, I used 6 plums until I got the first new feathers message then waited 6 hours. This got Sylph Green
Next, I used one plum, and got a new feathers message, I fed it 7 more plums to get another new feathers message, then waited 6 hours. This got Celeste green. http://puu.sh/bcLLS/fa5ca7c2c6.png

For reference, I did the same thing to try and get white. I fed it the lightening blue hue fruit 2 twice to get the new feather message to get Snow White as a result. Hope this helps others.

So, I finally got a stable for my FC and my fruits are in so dyeing time for my chocobo Frobisher! I will update as I go along.

I am working off of this diagram since the calculator that's going around is REALLY confusing to me.

Aim colour: Rolanberry Red

I am stuck in a regal purple loop. My aim is to get Currant Purple. Here is how my experiment has gone so far (stable condition always "Good"):

step 1 - Start Desert Yellow

2 apples - 1 message

1 apple - 1 message

1 apple - 1 message

1 apple - 1 message

= millioncorn yellow


Step 2 -

8 apples - message


= pumpkin orange



Step 3 -

11 apples - message


= sunset orange


step 4 -

11 apples - message

= blood red


step 5 -

6 berries - message


= dalamud red


Step 6 -

15 berries - message

= rolanberry red


step 7 -

1 pear - message


= regal purple


step 8 -

1 berry - message


= rolanberry


step 9 -

1 pear - message

= regal


Step 10 -

2 berries - message

= ?


According to the charts, feeding pears SHOULD have brought it from Rolanberry Red to Grape Purple. However, I am stuck in a Rolanberry Red/Regal Purple Loop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. S

so i am stuck on royal blue, I have followed a few charts and instructions on my journey to get soot black (feed berries, pears, or apples, and finishing with pineapple) but I always end up with regal purple or back at royal blue . any advise or tips?

Try:
pineapple 3
apple 5
pear 4
berry 2

You're in a tough place, any variation I tried by adding or removing one of the above lands a different color. Whichever the case, it will bring you the closest and may be fixed next.

Unfortunatly, my test are only on apple and berries... I don't have fruits in stock to further my test, my garden is currently used to get a Thav Onion and i don't want to waste too much money on this (need to get some Det 4 materia >__<)

I wanted celeste green so I fed my choco with 13 plums and 2 berries, just like other users have already suggested and I got celeste green
