Read that big yellow box up the topSo I need a bit of help understanding this spreadsheet. I'm aiming for Sky Blue. It says I need "O'Ghomoro Berry x13, Mamook Pear x10, Valfruit x1, Doman Plum x5 /// O'Ghomoro Berry x12, Doman Plum x11, Xelphatol Apple x3 // Doman Plum x28." From my understanding, that means that those are my 3 options of feeding it in order to get that color. I was going to go the Doman Plum route, but it also says that 28 Doman Plums makes, Celeste Green. Do the /// and // mean something else, like I'm supposed to feed it that batch first, and then feed it the next?Do NOT use that spreadsheet, it was made when people were under the impression x amounts of fruit would give a specific colour.
You need some combination of those fruits, but the exact numbers may be totally different for you
i had my chocobo sunset orange i gave him 10 apple 10 berries (100% "procs" )and got damamud red
should not be possible the feed must have done -56 -64 -24
so my theories of when the color change it could set his values at the new color values is false
the color system could be not rgb but cmyk , or no symetrical +5-5-5 model
Well I didn't get feather proc after 1 feed of pineapples, it actually took 4 pineapple feeds to get Ink Blue, but I got it. And I'm kinda liking the color. Its the darkest and the blue does not show up when the sun hits the feathers, but instead a drk grey-ish blue.
So I think I'm sticking with Ink Blue. As I'm just 1 feed away from getting black, if I change my mind.
"You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war."
last night i went from Ink Blue to Deepwood green with one Pineapple(Proc).
Fed one Valruit(Proc) to get Ink Blue Again ^_^;;
Fed one pineapple(Proc). Will have a result Before the maintenance, in time for one more feed during maintenance if needed.
I'm expecting Soot Black, or a lighter green possibly. (not as bad as people think being pushed out of the loop gives you a better shot at landing soot without jumping over it.)
But hey, here's to soot black perhaps? ^_^; see you all in 6 hours.
Seriously, I was marsh green, fed it one berry (like some people suggested), it went to Currant purple. Fed it 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 2 pear, 1 berry and 1 apple (it worked for a few people to get soot black from currant purple). Now it's back to Marsh green again.
Anyone got a suggestion to push it to soot black?
Can you guys help me on geting Soot Black from Regal Purple. Thank you!
Didn't end up with soot black but got charcoal grey.
From regal purple I fed 2 Xelphatol Apples, 2 O'Ghomoro Berries and 4 Mamook Pears with only 1 feather proc.
Maybe you can tweak that around and get lucky! :P
Couldn't answer before du to posting limit.
Calculator: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...9Z4/edit#gid=0
Make a copy of it as it's read only. Adjust the fields in white for fruit quantities and select current and desired color for adjustments.
You need the following for soot black:
apple 5
pear 10
berry 6
This should land you exactly on soot black, has the least difference of -1 with it so range is easy for you. If you've fed anything since then, let me know, I can recalculate and adjust bsed on what you gave.
Due to forum posting limits I can't help with coloring as much as I'd like, so visit me here: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/2168293/blog/1568406/ for my coloring "blog".
Rorichan and kgbrown247, your answers are there!
1 berry 1 apple should do the trick.Seriously, I was marsh green, fed it one berry (like some people suggested), it went to Currant purple. Got out of the Kobold Brown, Deepwood Green and Ink Blue loop.
Deepwood Green >[Valfruit x1]> Soot Black
Thanks for the support, tips & theories!
