I am bout to get blood red.

I should have fed it all apples every transformations until it says growing feathers and stop, but first 2, I didn't know better and my chocobo got 1 berry in each of the first 2 transformations. Is my green off because of it or is it ok to leave it at that? Don't want to arrive up there at midnight blue/ink blue/kobolt brown and be screwed because I ate 2 berries too early.

So nobody can answer this?
