Before you feed him the lemon and start over try this "Darkener" combo:

x9 Berries
x5 Pear
x3 Apple

This combo should result in an RGB of around 84R 17G 39B (assuming +/-5 average integer and using the original RGB spreadsheet) and should push you into Rolanberry Red range;. Remember your mileage may vary. For Science!
