Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

Woke up and checked my chocobo this morning do find it Midnight Blue (got there in a very round-about way so I won't bother saying what all I fed it o.o ) Liking the blue look, so I just fed it another 20 berries to try and deepen the blue. The weird thing: I didn't get the growing new feathers message once. After 20 berries... anybody else having this change from the past few days? Also it only told me about the choco's plumage changing in 6 hours after the first snack I fed it, not on the following times as it always did before.

To go from Midnight to a darker blue, you need to lower the blue hue by feeding pears and apples. This is what I did to go from Midnight to Ink.
