Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

Okay so I want to know where you guys are getting the food?!? I have no access to the gardens at our FC and from the looks of it they have zero interest in doing any of it since we didn't ever even have the training foods. one berry on the market is 25K how is someone relatively new to the game even supposed to enjoy this. Only reason I even started the game was my love for chocobos.

Our FC harvested 432 combined chocobo fruits in about 2 days. We're almost out now but have an additional batch coming in a day. Fruits are also about 8k-30k on server so others just buy from market board.

Good FCs should always be gardening stuff for their members, whether it be dyes or something else. Pretty important part to having an FC imo.

Personal gardening will be coming soon too.

Guess I need to look into joining a different FC because honestly since I started playing ive seen no reason for even being part of one. Guess im just in the wrong one

I imagine the prices on the market board will drop FAST. I mean, you can get 36 fruits per seed.
If you don't want to wait (and I don't blame you!) the only real way is to ask your FC leader/officers to give permission. Or change FCs, but a lot of FCs don't give gardening rights to new members. =/

Depends on servers. My server, earlier in the same day prices for most fruit was about 10k, except Valfruit for some reason, that was 50-60k.

Now, now they've got up in price, roughly 10k more for everything.

Definitely better to have someone in your FC grow them.

We're both on Diabolos, and I did notice that, too. =P
But my guess is that once more batches hit the market, the prices will plummet. The reason they went up is just because a lot of people got home from work/school, saw the cool colors, and bought up the ones on the cheaper end. Seriously, if in two weeks the prices are still floating around 20k per fruit, I would be REALLY surprised.

I even noticed that barding went up. People are actually paying attention to their Chocobos now, it seems. =)
