Was at Kobold Brown, fed 1 Doman Plum, got the "beginning to grow new feathers" on first try. Got Ink Blue instead. Did Pineapples on Ink Blue, same result, got "growing new feathers" on first try, waited for 6 hours. Sent back to Kobold Brown. Something's not right here.

I've gone from Ink Blue + 1 Pineapple = Kobold Brown
Kobold Brown + 2 Plums (msg on 2nd plum) = Deepwod Green
I'm now trying Deepwood Green + Valfruit = ??? (hopefully black)

There's been 3 confirmed Soot Blacks on here so far. 2 from Kobold Brown, 1 was with 1 plum, the other 2 plums. The 3rd was Deepwood Green with 1 Valfruit. I'm HOPING that my bird's RGB levels aren't at a certain point where I'm 'stuck' and can't get to Black because my numbers are just at a point where it can't get to black without a major overhaul or restart.

The other possibility is perhaps there's some RNG involved on which color you're moving to when getting the New Feather's msg. Perhaps something like 'Kobold Brown + Plum = 20% Black or 80% Deepwood Green'. I'm gonna see where this Deepwood Green + Valfruit takes me. If it IS RNG then I'll either end up Soot Black or back to Ink Blue.
