Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

So I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if there's a glitch. Earlier today my chocobo was colibri pink, then I put him back in stable and fed around 30 other fruit. The 6 hours finished and I didn't get a cutscene with him. Took him out and he's the exact same colour. He wasn't disturbed any time during that time. Is this a glitch or can he only change colour so much before reset? =/

Edit: But on topic though, did you receive the messege about growing new feathers during any of those 30 feedings?

I fed my bird 10 deepening green fruit, but it took til about the 6th or 7th before I got a message about feathers regrowing.
