I've already done this here.
Edit: Well my fruit values weren't exactly the same as that but I did record my "Feathers" messages.

I've already done this here.Okay, what i think someone should do, is attempt this, but only with the amount of "new feather" messages. For example:
Feed enough Doman Plums to get 11 new feather messages
Feed enough Ciel Pineapple to get 6 new feather messages
Feed enough Valfruit to get 12 new feather messages
And see if that also gets you snow white. If it does, then that will be confirmation that it is the number of messages for the fruit, and not the amount of fruit, that make the difference. And then we can figure out if that is too many, and how many "messages" are actually needed to get Snow White.
Think thats something to start with?
Edit: Well my fruit values weren't exactly the same as that but I did record my "Feathers" messages.
Ash Grey: O'Ghomoro Berry x5, Valfruit x5, Doman Plum x5 /// O'Ghomoro Berry x12 > Cieldalaes Pineapple x10 > O'Ghomoro Berry x6 /// O'Ghomoro Berry x6 or 7 (?), Doman Plum x3, Valfruit x3, Mamook Pear x3
Goobbue Grey: O'Ghomoro Berry x12
Slate Grey: O'Ghomoro Berry x21, Xelphatol Apple x7, Mamook Pear x7
Charcoal Grey: Unknown
Soot Black: Unknown
it would make sense to base the changing greys off this information thus far to determine soot black.
I did 30 O'ghomoro, 14 Xelphatol Apple, 13 Mamook Pear from a Millioncorn yellow in that order, i got the message alot of times but still ended up with coeurl yellow, idk how. Stable was fair and rank 7 chocobo if it helps.

Fed 10 O'ghomorro berries, 7 mamook pears and got meadow green.

The thought behind the "New Feathers" message is that it's getting triggered when you're sliding into a SE Dye Colour; no message no colour change. Possibly what you're experiencing is just random occurrence (but maybe not). There is a thread that is tracking chocobo colour changes based on "Feather" trigger messages here: Chocobo Dye Experimentation.
If you had to lower values to get white, you'd need to feed a lot to reach white, because you're starting at near max yellow (honey yellow I believe is the only yellow above Desert Yellow). But you don't. It only takes a few plums/valfruit to reach white. There was a post a few pages back showing it.

Thread got a bit too long so it's hard to followwas it confirmed if what matters is the amount of "is beginning to grow new feathers!" messages instead of amount of fruits fed?

It's being tested in this thread: Chocobo Dye Experimentation.

Oki so after 11 successfully used valfruit I got rose pink and after 13 successful doman plum I got ice blue

You guys gotta know one thing, that chart in google docs does not necessarily list the "recipes" in order that the "finder" used them.
Hello! I was wondering which and how many fruits are used to get Turquoise Green. Thanks in advance!
