Raptor blue and I love it! I don't think I'll change it. :3
O'Gho Berry x22
Fed 4 plums and 3 Valfruit in one session. Got Sylph green.
25 O'Ghomoro Berry at once, 22 or 23 had the feather growing message

Dalamud Red. I fed it O'Ghomoro Berry x17, Xelphatol Apple x15, Valfruit x18 in a random order over 2 days cause I had no clue what I was doing. I was trying for Blood Red so I could get Regal Purple but ended up with this and I ♥ it!

I now got Gobbiebag Brown after feeding 8x O'Ghomoro Berries. How can I get Snow White from here??

I fed mine 11 valfruit and got rose pink (aiming for snow white step by step x3)
Were the two on which you got the message the final two?I would say it's possible, but considering that people follow the exact same number of total feeds, I really don't think it is. If we get good solid data proving that dyes still can't be reproduced by using the same number of feather messages, then we're likely just stepping into RNG territory completely.
Also I just went from regal purple to plum purple using 18 valfruit. Only 2 got the feather proc. And I'm pretty sure it shouldn't take 20 valfruit to have the color change so slightly. It doesn't seem like it's sliding when there's no proc message.

Yep.
I have yet to see anyone post any logs showing that they fed the same food in a session and it skipped the feather message. I think it's RNG to get the chocobo to eat enough to actually be affected by feeding.
I saw one person post a log that had berries or something stop giving them the proc, and I suspect they found a color cap.
Edit:
@Amelia
Is what you've posted listing only the ones that got feather procs?
