OK so based on this I reset my chocobo and went for black again.

I had extra apples so I fed it until I got the new feather message.

I then did a 1x1x1 feed order -- Red > Green > Blue (apples, pears, og berries)

When I got halfway through the berries, I did just berries until the ratio was even.

I then continued the 1x1x1 ratio until all fruit was done.

Total Fruit -- 17 apples, 15 Pears, 25 Berries

Total new feather messages 15 Apples, 15 Pears, 25 Berries.

I have to work so I wont be home by the time its done. I will post tonight around 1130 est. BEST OF LUCK!

I could be wrong but it seems like you're going for White with the RGB method, if you find your chocobo is lighter, maybe it would be good to go with the Cyan/Magenta/Yellow fruits.

But doesn't the spreadsheet say that Snow White was obtained with feeding only the lightening fruit?

I fed mine 22 plumes 3 pears 1 pineapple 2 berries- celeste green
Fed it some more pears around 6 and some other ones - got no message no color change
fed it 6 pineapples and it's now apple green. The message feathers are changing came up twice.


I figured a small number would work and that I would still stay within the range of green

I fed mine 7 Mamook Pears so far and I got the message two times.
Wonder what I will get with that. Then again I exchanged 2 of my pears for 2 Valfruits with a FC member. There is nothing with that combo in the Google Doc so far, which is why I can't wait to see what I'll get with that xD

Royal Blue now. Fed it one Xelphatol apple and received the plumage msg. Will see in 6hours how much color changes with just one feeding and one message.

This is the process I used to achieve Snow White:

Feed #1 - Honey Yellow

• Cieldalaes Pineapple x3

Result = Honey Yellow

* It took 3 Pineapples before the "Grows New Feathers" message appeared.


Feed #2 - Cream Yellow

• Doman Plum x4

Result = Cream Yellow

* The "Feathers" message either triggered at 3 or 4 Plums. I didn't write this "Feather" trigger down so unfortunately I don't know exactly which but I'm 98.5% sure it was at 4.


Feed # 3 - Snow White

• Doman Plum x7
• Valfruit x10

Result = Snow White

* Fed 1 Doman Plum and got no "Feathers" message. Switched to feeding 10 Valfruit (each had the "Feathers" message) and then the remaining 6 Doman Plums (each plum triggered the "Feathers" message).


Total Fruits Used

3 Cieldalaes Pineapple, 11 Doman Plum, 10 Valefruit


*Note: Stable quality was "Poor" for all feedings.
