I got Sylph green.
Fed 5 x plums.
First plum gave your chocobo will grow new plumage in 6 hours message. 4th and 5th gave Your chocobo is growing new feathers message.

Thats the color im going for! In a few hours Ill be up to about 22 total pears. I'm thinking I can get to hunter green from subtracting red/blue as well.

Ooooeh please do let me know if you try that. I have already given mine 5 plums and would like Hunter green. Gonna try to get to Apple next if not Hunter.

I'm surprised no one in this thread has yet suggested that Stable cleanliness might affect the effects of feeding snacks to the chocobo. It could easily explain why 21 o'Ghomo Berries yielded 3 different colors to people so far. Of course, IF cleanliness matters. Man, that's a whole lot more science to do now

I did just that today and cleaned the stables from fair to good as it made a difference when training them and xp so I thought it might here too. Hard to tell though.

Great, just what we needed. More variables and crap to worry about. Next thing you know Weather, Time of Day, Chocobo Level, and which plot your house is on and which ward will come into play.

In any case I fed my Chocobo 30 Apples and 10 Berries a few hours ago, I'll post what I get as a result when it changes.

+3 blue for the first 6 hours (no change).
+17 blue, - 3 red - 3 green the second round.

Ok 2nd feeding went from Regal Purple to Rolanberry red
1st feeding was 30 O'ghomoro Berries, 15 Mamook Pears and 20 xelphatol Apples = regal
2nd feeding was 4 more berries, 1 more pear and 6 more apples = regal to rolanberry

Just did a 3rd feeding with 3 valfruit and 4 apples since it looks like I pulled the green too far and the red not far enough?
or, it's 2 in the morning so I might just be thinking of it all wrong. anyway will post what happens in the morning.

First feeding 25 x Mamook Pear 5 x Doman Plums 5 x Cieldalaes Pineapple turned into Apple Green



Second feeding 10 x Mamook Pear 5 x Xelphatol Apple x 5 O'ghomoro Berries

Got the message of him growing new feathers on first Pear and last Berry
