So here I am with Lavender Purple. . . Started from Cork Brown to Royal Purple To Plum Purple.

I have been reading the thread and found that I was successful on getting new feathers to grow when I fed my Chocobo Blu slowly. I waited almost a minute in between feedings.

For Raptor Blue I feed:
20 Berries and got the "New Feathers" message 18 times (18/20)
2 Plums with "New feathers" message on both.
2 Valfruit with "New feathers" message on both.

Blu is back in the stables and I have fed him
5/6 Pears
6/8 Berries
5/5 Apples

Update in 6 hours...Blu turned out to be Royal Blue. Haven't decided if I want to keep it or work towards getting Ink Blue

Tried to make Colibri Pink following the recipe on spread sheet, 8 Valfruit, and 7 Plums, result was Salmon Pink.

I added 5 Berries, 3 Apples, and 3 more Valfruit, and got Colibri Pink this morning.

did it say it was growing new feathers on every feed?

11 Berries, 10 Apples and 11 Pears got me Halatali Yellow

26 Berries and 22 Apples and Pears got me Orchard Brown

31 Berries and 30 Apples and Pears got me Wine Red.

These numbers are cumulative over three feedings and start from the chocobo's base color.

My steps so far:

Step 1: 2 apples went to millioncorn yellow (message of feathers changing appeared at second feed)

Step 2: 12 apples did nothing (mesage about changing feathers did not appear and i ran out of feed)

Step 3: 2 apples and then 1 valfruit (message about changing happened only once feeding the valfruit - possible that you must feed them a different fruit each step?) went to pumpkin orange

Step 4: 5 valfruit and then 3 apples (message appeared at first apple) went to sunset orange

My personal feeling here is that you need only two fruits per step for a change, but one of those must be different to the last fruit you fed them. Anyone else get that feeling?

edit: just fed 4 valfruits, 2 apples and 3 berries. message appeared twice during the berry feeds. it may be possible to jump colors

1st time I fed it 30 Berries that Deepen Blue and 36 Apples that Deepens Red and got Dalamund Red.

Then I gave it 16 Pears and it turned Acorn Brown. This isn't on Spreadsheet.

So a friend of mine wants HUNTER GREEN chocobo. Anyone know the feeding procedure needed in order to get it? Any help would be vastly appreciated
