As soon as I get online, and can possibly buy some, I'm going to feed my bird doman plums until I get the first feather message. Then I will feed it again to see if I can get it a second time. Personally shooting for a Hunter Green bird.

Is anyone in the process of going in the extreme of one of the RGB directions? I may just dump all my berries in one go since it seems the results so far shown only gives shades of yellow (and brown which is also yellow). The 36+ lightning guy is the only example showing that stacking fruits was either not working or needed more than just 36 (like maybe 100 of ea).

I would be happy with either Sky Blue or Raptor Blue.

This thread almost makes me want to just wait on dying it until we have some more concrete evidence as to how this system really works. I guess I will keep checking the Google doc to see how to attain this, but from what has been posted so far it almost looks like it is a guarantee that multiple feedings of fruit will be needed before anyone even makes it into the blue spectrum.

Went against my gut and fed it trying to break out of the yellow/brown color variants right now. Currently @ 2hrs 28min until its done..

Fed (in the following order)

1x Mamook Pear, 5x Xelaphol Aplples, 2x Doman Plums.

• Planted 8/19 @ 10am CST ;;
• Harvested 8/21 - Ready for Harvest upon login @ 12pm CST, an FC mate harvested their plant 3h prior, so they were ready by this morning (Earlier than 48h Mark) ;;
• Each plant had 24 applications of fertilizer from planting to harvesting.

It's actually not that. The correct wording is "deepen", not "darken".
It changes everything around.

The use of "lighten" and "deepen" respectively means "less" and "more" or the chosen color.
(The justification is: if you make something "lighter", you're reducing its mass. "Deepen" it can mean that you make it more 'strong', increasing its mass. At least, this is how I see it.)

So, in order to get a dark/black chocobo, you need to reduce the amount of red and green first, meaning that you would need a combination of a few Doman Plum (lighten red) and some Valfruit Seeds (lighten green).

I can't give any amount nor I can guarantee what I'm saying because the numbers seems to be all over the place.
