Before the server crash I fed my Chocobo Plums and Val until I hit 3 messages with the Plums and 1 with the Val at the end because that's wut someone who reported getting Ice Blue did. I checked this out and found it interesting that you somehow get to either Snow White OR Ice Blue with just 4 Plum messages and not the Valfruit. Servers are finally up again and I checked my Chocobo ... Sylph green, right where it would be on you chart after 3 plum messages but I also used a Val so I guess that Val at the end didn't kick it outta Sylph.

Wanted to feed em one more plum message to see where it would land but someone used the rest of my plums. Gotta grow new ones so that's gonna be a bit:/

So ended up getting Dalamud Red if anyone have a very clear idea how to get to Soot Black that be awesome.

Try 3 plum 7 pear 7 berry | pear and berry will decrease a lot of red while green and blue will negate each other,the plums will try to control 3 colors in this order R>G>B.but since there's a lot of difference numbers between Dalamud Red and Soot Black,your result might end up brown or even darker red.

I feed enough apples and berries to get from default color to Dalamund red (on the way to soot black) before server went down and it said growing new feathers each time, but I only ended up with millicorn yellow. It's like the other 4 transformations didn't work.

Unless only one change occurs every 6 hours (the other growing new feathers don't count)

So from Marsh Green I got drunk and feed my choco 2berries each proced then 1 apple and it also proced to give me Ink Blue. I was then convinced by a friend to try and do Kobold Brown via 1 pineapple then try and get soot... I fed my Bucephalus who was Ink Blue 1 pineapple and it proced on the first feed and he became soot black. Thank you RNG? confused but happy since now my Bucephalus is the same color as Alexander the Greats horse Bucephalus!

Here are some results from some of my feedings omw to hopefully Soot Black. Starting color was Russet Brown (72,39,26)

Feeding in order: 4x Apples, 4x Pears, 4x Berries. All but one pear got the "new feathers" message.
Result: Wine Red (62, 17,14)

2nd Feeding: 6xApples with 1 new feather message on the last apple. Will post results in the morn.

Right now I'm still iffy about the new feather message since I've had no messages with feedings before Russet Brown and still got a shift in color.

So far I've done (all fruit numbers are the feather messages I've gotten):

- Original -> Pumpkin Orange (didn't count the fruit or messages that time) -> Acorn brown (then fed 14 berries, 1 plum, 2 pears)
-> Abyssal Blue (then fed 7 apples, 7 pears, 1 pineapple)
-> Chestnut Brown (2 pears, 5 berries)
-> Ink Blue (1 apple, 1 pineapple)
-> Kobold Brown (1 plum)
-> Ink Blue (1 plum)
-> Deepwood Green (1 valfruit)
-> Ink Blue (1 pineapple)
-> Deepwood Green

Now I've fed it another valfruit. I really hope it's not going to be Kobold Brown or Ink Blue again.

Decided to feed 5 Mamook pears and 5 Xelphatol Apples, each feed gave me a feather message..

Result: Back to apple green

apple green + plums = celeste green
celeste green + plums = sky blue

I have been working on this chart now for a few days and this is what I have so far. Is not the prettiest thing because it is done in paint and I fail at the cute polished things. I hope this helps people.

Thing is, hubby's chocobo went from Ice Blue to Celest Green with a doman plum, so those two somehow link.
