Finally made it to midnight blue, so close to ink blue!
Next should be a pear and one apple proc, I think.
Any advice?

Due to forum posting limits I can't help with coloring as much as I'd like, so visit me here: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/2168293/blog/1568406/ for my coloring "blog".
Rorichan and kgbrown247, your answers are there!

Right now I am at Snow White and very dissatisfied with it, it looks like a very pale gray. Has anyone gone from White to Soot Black? I think I would just prefer a black Chocobo.

Result: Ash Grey
Glad to be finally out of the Green cycle..
I'm not sure how to proceed. I havent got a plan for waht colour I actually want, just seeing what looks nice for now.

It's the whole other side of the spectrum. You should start deepening with the three evenly at the same time. Don't go overboard with many at the same time, do a series and see where you stand then adjust again.

I would like some assistance in getting to Grape purple R52 G36 B54
chocobo is currently Coral Pink R200 G101 B87
let me know if would be easier from Desert Yellow R215 G175 B80

You need to darken across the board, so start doing procs of all three alternating each. Blue is clsoe enough but you'll need to darken the others by quit some. Might want to do a few berries first to darken all then revise to all three as RGB values become closer and then go for a more uniform feed across the three to get closer. Fine tuning as you are closer will be easier to review then.

Starting Color : Midnight Blue
Chocobo Level: 10
Stable Condition: Fair
Feed Used: x2 Cieldalaes Pineapple
New Feathers: 2/2 Pineapples
Result: Ink Blue
[9:02 p.m.]Juju devours the Cieldalaes pineapple.
[9:02 p.m.]Juju's plumage will change in 6 hours.
[9:02 p.m.]Juju is beginning to grow new feathers!
[10:12 p.m.]Juju devours the Cieldalaes pineapple.

[10:12 p.m.]Juju's plumage will change in 4 hours and 50 minutes.
Result: Ink Blue
So after I tried the [O'Ghomoro Berry x3, Mamook Pear x1, Xelphatol Apple x1] recipe and got Cork Brown, I tried to correct the values with a Doman Plum and another Mamook Pear, but instead of getting me closer to Aldgoat Brown (which is my goal), I got reset back to Desert Yellow.
I tried again today with the same recipe of [O'Ghomoro Berry x3, Mamook Pear x1, Xelphatol Apple x1], this time feeding them in order and getting the new feathers message with each feed, I instead ended up with Ul Brown.

This request actually popped up earlier in the thread. Feeding suggestions (it's a multi-step process) from Coral Pink towards Grape Purple are listed in the "Samples" section of the Chocobo Dye - The Missing Manual thread; mileage may vary.
