rolanberry + pear = grape
I dont think people are reading the forums and reading the data people have posted. Because people have posted the data to most of the questions being asked.

Alright, here's my results that take place right after my 3rd post on http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2391538Posted my stats in 3 post on http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2391533
Like others, trying to get soot black, any suggestions on my next move?

Keep getting stuck. I've been looking at https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/15...539/Qgq6wI.png
I know the values are
Deepwood Green
25 36 28
Kobold Brown
42 28 23
Soot Black
37 35 30
But I can't seem to break the pattern to get it into Soot Black.

So if I fed 10 pears first, then 21 berries am I going to end up with a derivative of brown/green?

From what I understand, it's too tricky to say exactly how much each food item increases things. There seems to be a lot of RNG at play, so it might not increase your blue, red or green as much as you would want it to. Still early days there...
EDIT: Also it depends on what colour your chocobo is now, naturally.

Current: Russet Brown (R:72/G: 39/B: 26)
Goal: Soot Black (R:37/G: 35/B: 30)
Anyone want to chime in on this? I'd assume dropping red some more and maybe adding some blue. Outside of that I'm stumped not sure what to give that'll send me in the right direction.

If I understand your post correct, you went from Deepwood Green > Kobold Brown basically? Sounds like you might be hitting the loop we have been struggling to find remedy for.Posted my stats in 3 post on http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2391533

There is a few different methods you could try. Obviously Kobold > Soot straight up should be Doman Plum till you get feather change. This might result in Ink blue however based on previous results. I'm wondering if the 'bottom out' theory will play out personally. Feed all 3 Darkening fruit to bottom out (close to 0 color) then feed all 3 lightening fruit to get it back up to the Soot black range (evens out your numbers like Soot needs). I believe someone else is trying that out currently.
I'm really wondering if with these dark colors we are all getting our blue a little low, and our reds a little high. One thing I'm thinking is because of SE rounding into color ranges, having your green be mid-high, with blue being rather low, and red high is what is happening in this circular coloring. Something I'd be interested to see if works is feeding x1 Berry (gets blue back up) > x1 Doman Plum. I personally think this could work.
People keep saying RNG, but I personally think it has more to do with our unseen color ranges that are rounded. Obviously SE has to have some sort of tolerance for bringing 3 separate numbers into a color range.

Appreciate the reply, I'll try the Plums then come back to say whether I achieved Soot Black or Ink Blue.
Ok so I got my chocobo to Sky Blue and want opinions on what to feed for Ice blue from here. Thanks in advance.

You just need to get your Red back up - you lowered it too much. I'm thinking you focused on plums? Well, I would try Pineapple and Valfruit at a 2:1 ratio until you get the new feathers message.
