Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

I'm at Pumpkin Orange and can't seem to get to Kobold Brown. Any idea on what food I should be using to get there? ><

I was hesitant to use any of the crazy sounding recipes to get blood red so I started just feeding my choco Xel Apples (darken red), these were my results (posted as a running total through the different feeding);

-4x Xel Apples : Milicorn Yellow
-10 Xel Apples : Sunset Orange
-18 Xel Apples : Mesa Red
-30 Xel Apples : Blood red

So somewhere between feeding him 18 (total) and 30 (total) darken red he turned Blood Red, all subsequent attempts to change his color past this have resulted in no "Growing new feathers" messages, I've tried feeding him more apples and nothing, I tried feeding him 5 Valfruit at once and no message, I also tried feeding him 5 berries in one feeding and once again...no message >.<

(Also, in regards to the popular color chart people are using to dye their chocos, my friend followed the Dalamud Red recipe,the exact amounts listed and in the order it is posted, and ended up with a Raisin Brown chocobo so yea...proceed with caution )

Never fear, I did roughly the same thing, just in a different order, and also got Cork Brown. I was most displeased with that result. So I decided to try and turn that into a shade of red, and based on FC chest history it looks like I did 4 Xelephatol Apples and 2 O'Ghommoro Berries but I can't find any log beyond that to say what order. The red first I believe.

The red color that came out, while called 'Coral Pink' doesn't look pink at all, it's a nice looking red and seems unique so far, and I've gotten compliments from people on that shade so I will attach a picture if I can figure out how to get one off my PS4 and onto here via my iPad. I didn't want to go for an exact color, I had general ideas but wanted to be a bit of a surprise (just not cork brown). Black is cool, white is cool, etc but there's only one true black/with so I hope this one isn't too common because of there being a lot of variety maybe.

Whoot I finally got Snow White

Funny thing tho, black is supposed to be the most common type of chocobo after the yellow ones while white is the rarest if you don't count the gold one in, yet there are sooo many white and only a handful of black x3

Not entirely sure how I got here, I do believe it was a few Cieldalaes pineapples.
Fed: 2 Doman Plum, 15 O'ghomoro Berry
Result: Meadow Green
Fed: 1 Doman Plum
Result: Apple Green
Fed: 4 Cieldalaes Pineapple
Result: Lime Green

edit: Fed 5 Mamook Pears, got feather message on 5th, will post result.
